This "Holy Spirit Day" is a one day Easter season retreat in preparation for the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

Between the busyness of life and the demands on our time, just finding time to get away from it all and be with God can be challenging. Often times we can find ourselves struggling with anxiety and stress and a feeling of frustration with our own weaknesses.
But God did not create you for fear, He created you for greatness. He longs to put His love into your heart through an encounter with the Holy Spirit.
In that encounter we find the love, peace, and joy our hearts desire. As we prepare to celebrate Pentecost this year, God is ready to renew your heart and strengthen your faith.
Please plan to join us at the Finding New Life in the Spirit Retreat being held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Parish in the St. Lawrence Room.
Come for a fresh outpouring of God’s mercy, love, and power as we celebrate and spend time with the one who sacrificed His life for us that we might have His life at work in our hearts.

Retreat Master: John Beaulieu (bowl' you)
John Beaulieu has been sharing the love of Christ and witnessing about the power and person of the Holy Spirit with youth and adults for the past thirty years. He developed his passion for ministry while traveling as a missionary for two years with NET ministries. After graduating from Franciscan University, he worked with teens at an alcohol and drug rehab center in Dallas, TX before hearing the call to move into full-time youth ministry. He spent over 17 years working parishes in Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, and Ohio developing thriving youth programs and loving teens. Currently, John is the Director of Marketing and Engagement in the Christian Outreach Office for Franciscan University. He also served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Youth Ministry in the Catechetics Department. John speaks to thousands of teens and adults each year at parish, diocesan, and national retreats and conferences. John lives in Steubenville, Ohio with his lovely bride of 27 years, Lisa, and their five children Andrew, Madeleine, Catherine, JohnPaul, and Therese Marie. |
